My mum, my sister, and I spend hours in Indian markets finding fabrics made using centuries-old techniques, then spread them across my living room floor to choose what goes together before handing them off to my tailor in Mumbai who stitches over a hundred pieces together by hand for each piece.

Like a rose, each piece blooms only once.

✿ how it’s made

Six weeks.
One skirt.

From a fabric market somewhere in India, to my tailor in Mumbai, to my home in Los Angeles — every piece walks a long way before it finds you. We document each step.
